Spring Day 2020 - Thank you to our Health Care Workers

In our attempt to grow inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world, students are encouraged to support authentic needs in the community. In the context of the global pandemic, the Grade 1 students spent time investigating the different people in our community that work together to keep us safe.

In response, they established a Spring Day drive to collect flowers for the health care workers at the hospital close to our school.

To celebrate the arrival of Spring 2020 we were delighted to be able to make donations of floral bunches to all the hospital staff at Victoria Medi-Clinic. We are so grateful to these health care workers who have worked tirelessly during this pandemic - our community depends on the amazing work of these men and women. It is our privilege to acknowledge all that they have done!
