Changing Conversations

When your child gets into the car into the afternoon, don’t ask, “How was your day?”, ask about what their highlights were, what struggles they had and what obstacles they overcame. Ask what they’re curious about, what they’d like to know more about… let them share their experience of learning with you.
Learning should provoke curiosity and invite wonder. Those dry, dull lessons should be transformed into fascinating learning experiences which stretch both the child and their imagination.
Changing our conversations, changes perceptions and beliefs and ultimately, has the power to change lives.
